League City is a waterfront city in Texas. The city was first named Clear Creek in the 1800s and after a few name changes, "League City" was finally settled upon in the early 1900s. League City is located on Galveston Bay and Clear Lake. The city is a great place for enjoying water activities and is the 3rd largest boating anchorage in the United States! There are many different types of water tours to choose from and kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are readily available for rent. You can even go on a nighttime party cruise with a group of your friends.
