Robert began playing music professionally at the age of 14 in Dallas, TX, with several acting troupes and musical theaters. He has shared the stage with artists such as Brian Setzer and The Stray Cats and Joe Walsh. He was also the music director and keyboardist for Bobby Keys of The Rolling Stones for 29 years. In the late 1990s, Robert started honing his skills as a dueling piano player and has never looked back.
Today, Robert lives in Little Rock, AK, and travels all over the country for corporate events, fundraisers, and wedding performances with Dueling Pianos International. It’s been said that Robert was a piano child prodigy, and his musicality is operating at the genius level. The same can be said for his creativity when it comes to comedic timing and the art of audience participation.
If a textbook were ever written on dueling piano players, Robert would be listed as the number one example. He is one of Dueling Pianos International’s hardest-working artists and is proud to call “the road” his home!
